Jimmy Rollins Still Not 100%

Jimmy Rollins has told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he still isn’t 100 percent and that he most likely won’t be until next February.

“I won’t be getting any infield singles,” Rollins said.

He also noted that he wouldn’t be trying to steal any bases.  This leads me to wonder if it’s really worth bringing him back.  I have to say that I have been more then pleased with the play of Wilson Valdez.  Yes, Valdez has a pretty weak bat, but he is much better then a hurt Jimmy Rollins.  With the playoffs beginning next week, I think that Charlie Manual has a big decision to make.

Jimmy has spent a ton of time on the shelf this season with his sore hamstring, but returned to action on Tuesday night against the Nationals where he went 1 for 3 with a single.
